Hotel San Giorgio - Bergamo

The standard double room had an extraordinarily comfy bed, a safe box, a minibar, and central heating, offering fantastic garden views while the central location was perfect for enjoying particularly delicious breakfasts.

Good enough for it's price, single room was small, but ok for one night, very clean and even small tv (didn't check if it works :) ). Very friendly and helpful young lady on the reception, speaking good English, unusual for Italy :)

Quite strong chemical smell, but from the other hand it means they clean up the hotel often :) Location is good – about 5 minutes from railway station, BUT I didn’t like all those guys hanging around on the streets near the hotel. Nothing has happened to me, but they just don’t look reliable, so I don’t think it’s a good idea to go out in the night time.

This place is conveniently located within walking distance of the old town and just 3 km away from a family-friendly museum.

The hotel was close to the railway station, about 10-15 minutes by foot. The first person we met at the reception was very friendly and gave us information about the city. A nice view from the breakfast room on the top floor of the hotel.

The floor of the bathroom was very sticky. The room needs refurbishing. The breakfast was very basic. We were reminded at least on 3 different occasions that we need to leave the room at 11h00. The hotel kept our passports until the room was paid at departure in the morning.

The rooms here are clean and well-equipped, each with its own private bathroom and a single window.

Location just next door to the railway station and public transport to Citta Alta, and shops and bars. Exceptionally comfortable bed, big size and absolutely perfect room with a view of garden. Obliging and very good staff interactions.

Central location was a plus. The staff was decent and excellent, some of them especially. The room was great-sized and I thoroughly enjoyed the elegant-style building.

This venue is fantastic with helpful staff at reception, and the rooms are spacious with large bathrooms.

Good location to explore the magnificant city of Bergamo.

The breakfast was exactly what I was hoping for, with Nutella and a great view. the location of the hotel was convenient, just a 10-15 minute walk from Parco Marenzi.
